Elena Evans, a mother of two and running as an Independent, wants to change this and will work to have the commission do the work it is paid to do — 'ensuring affordable, reliable and sustainable utility services.' Elena is qualified (and may be the only one on the PSC) to do the job: a trained geologist; a water quality expert; and a past Executive Director of a non-profit. She has experience working with government requirements and always reads the fine print.

There is a bright spot for future representation on the Public Service Commission and that is Elena Evans. She is an Independent and not subject to having to bow down to the Republican Party like all the current members are doing. She will actually represent the people of the district no matter what your Party affiliation is. We need some sanity on the Commission.

Independent candidate Elena Evans has my vote for PSC member. Current PSC member Jennifer Fielder just voted you a 28% electrical and gas rate increase and is considering another 8% increase request by Northwestern Energy.

We are retired Montanans living in all seven counties within District 4 of the Public Service Commission. Most of us are on fixed incomes. Some of us are Republicans and some are Democrats. But all of us are voting for Elena Evans, an Independent candidate for the PSC.

Anybody who read Carol Brooker’s letter in the 3 October Ledger who goes on to vote for Jennifer Fielder is voting solely for the political party and against their own best interests.

There are a lot of reasons to vote for Elena Evans, an Independent candidate for Public Service Commission. But one of them is that her opponent, Jennifer Fielder, has been such a reckless politician during her time in public office.
